UX/UI Designer

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

As a UX/UI Designer at Ignite Media, you’ll work closely with our dev and strategy teams to design intuitive, engaging experiences for websites, landing pages, and apps. We're looking for someone who balances aesthetic design with user-centric thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end design process for websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns—from discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and developer handoff

  • Translate business objectives and user needs into engaging, conversion-driven design solutions that align with client brand guidelines and user expectations

  • Conduct and synthesize user research (e.g., competitive audits, user interviews, heatmaps, behavior flows) to inform design direction and validate usability decisions

  • Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to communicate functionality and interaction behavior

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, strategists, and copywriters to ensure cohesive experiences across touchpoints and alignment between design and implementation

  • Present design rationale to stakeholders and clients, articulating design choices, UX principles, and user insights with clarity and confidence

  • Maintain and evolve scalable design systems and reusable UI components to ensure visual and functional consistency across all digital products

  • Participate in and occasionally lead design critiques and feedback loops, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the creative team

  • Stay ahead of design trends and emerging tech (e.g., accessibility best practices, responsive behavior, motion UI, micro-interactions) to push creative boundaries where appropriate

  • Quality-check final builds and provide UX/UI QA feedback to developers during staging and post-launch to ensure accurate design implementation

    Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of user experience, interface design, and responsive web design

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms

  • Familiarity with user research methods including user interviews, surveys, A/B testing, and usability testing

  • Experience working with design systems, brand guidelines, and collaborating within cross-functional teams

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into development (no coding required, but knowledge is a plus)

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present design rationale to internal teams and clients

  • Passion for staying current with design trends, user behavior, and emerging technologies
